NOTICE: NRC Partnership Funds Available
01/01/2007
Last year, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) established partnership programs with Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) to enhance TCU capacity to train students in fields critical to the NRC’s mission. Limited funds are available for FY06 for mentoring and leadership programs, research and development opportunities, training and technical assistance, recruitment and retention initiatives, student tuition assistance, scholarships, and housing (however, funds must support education programs in NRC mission-critical fields.)  Submit applications for financial assistance to U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Division of Contracts, Office of Administration, MS: T7-I2, Washington, DC 20555.  Awards are subject to the availability of program funds. The official notice on this grant is not out yet. More information will be available in weeks to come. Applications not funded for FY06 will be considered for FY07.
